Louis Dreyfus Armateurs (LDA), a French shipping company, has received Approval in Principle (AiP) from Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore for its innovative liquid hydrogen-powered Service Operation Vessel (SOV) design. This vessel is engineered to operate 95% of the time with zero carbon emissions, reducing annual CO2 emissions by approximately 4,000 tons.
