South Korean EV battery maker LG Energy Solution (LGES) signed a six-year deal to supply 8 GWh of its advanced 46-series cylindrical battery cells to Chinese automaker Chery Automobile starting in 2026. These batteries, powering over 120,000 BEVs, feature higher power, energy density, and charging efficiency compared to previous models.
