Australia's first grid-connected sodium-sulfur (NAS) battery, a 250kW/1.45MWh NGK system commissioned by Lava Blue at its PRiSM facility in Brisbane, is now operating. Paired with 200kW solar and connected to Energex and the NEM, it can meet 100% of the site's peak load. Delivered via the QUT-backed QUEST Hub, it uses 80% Australian content.
