Kuwait and China signed a framework agreement to collaborate on renewable energy and solar technology. The deal, finalized after six months of talks, focuses on expanding the Al-Shagaya and Al-Abdiliya solar plants to a potential 5,000 MW capacity. This aligns with Kuwait’s goal of sourcing 15% of its energy from renewables by 2030.
