The Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KSERC) approved KSEBL’s proposal to invite tariff-based competitive bids for 300 MW of wind power projects within Kerala. The capacity was reduced from 500 MW due to land, wind resource, and grid constraints. KSERC approved key bidding deviations, including lowering the minimum bid size from 10 MW to 2 MW and reducing the EMD to ₹5 lakh/MW to encourage wider participation.
