The 300 MW Masaya Solar Plant in Khandwa was sealed after an investigation revealed it was built illegally on tribal and SC land without proper permissions. The probe, led by Collector Rishav Gupta, found land was acquired under duress, compensation was lacking, and farmers’ illiteracy was exploited.
