DEWA (Dubai Electricity & Water Authority) offers over 740 charging points across Dubai under its EV Green Charger Initiative to support growing EV adoption, supporting UAE's steady growth in electric vehicle adoption which exceeded 34,970 in Oct 2024. The EV green Charger Initiative was launched by DEWA in 2014 aims to provide a pioneering infra for EV charging stations across Dubai.
