KERC’s Tariff Reduction Declared Erroneous by APTEL

The Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) overturned a KERC ruling that reduced the tariff from ₹5.46/kWh to ₹4.36/kWh for Tungabhadra Solar Parks’ 20 MW Solar Project. APTEL found the project met commissioning deadlines and criticized KERC for basing its decision on outdated findings and not hearing from all parties.
