Kazakhstan, South Korea Explore $2 Billion Green Energy Complex Project

Kazakhstan and South Korea signed an MoU to explore a $2 billion green energy complex in East Kazakhstan, combining 1 GW renewables with hydrogen production. The proposed project could produce up to 55,000 tonnes of green hydrogen or 310,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually. Cooperation will cover renewable energy, hydrogen technologies, research, analysis, expertise exchange and joint project development.
