JSW Group and Skoda Auto Volkswagen India are in advanced discussions for a manufacturing joint venture, with a non-binding MoU expected within two months. The proposed 51:49 partnership, likely led by JSW, will support EV development, localisation and Make in India export plans. Investment will focus on Volkswagen’s India Main Platform-based electric SUVs, reducing import dependence and production costs.
