JSW Energy has signed a shareholders’ agreement with Bhutan’s DGPC to jointly develop the 920 MW Punatsangchhu-III hydropower project. JSW Neo Energy will hold a 49% stake, while DGPC will own 51%. Located in Bhutan’s Wangdue Phodrang district, the project marks JSW Energy’s first power generation venture outside India.
