JSW Energy Limited has signed a ₹150 crore deal to acquire an additional stake in Toshiba JSW Power Systems Private Limited (TJPS), increasing its holding to 20.7% from 4.6%. The company manufactures supercritical steam turbines and generators used in thermal power plants. The move supports JSW Energy’s plan to expand thermal capacity from 5,658 MW to 10,658 MW by FY2030, including 3,200 MW under construction at Salboni.
