The Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission approved a 25-year Power Sale Agreement between Damodar Valley Corporation and NHPC for 250 MW of firm, dispatchable solar energy with a 1,150 MWh battery storage system. The project, won through transparent competitive bidding by ACME Solar in Rajasthan, will help DVC meet Renewable Purchase Obligation targets, manage peak demand, and improve grid reliability.
