Jordan’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources signed an MoU with China’s UEG for a $1.155 billion green hydrogen project feasibility study. The study aims to produce 200,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually using desalinated seawater and renewable energy. This aligns with Jordan’s strategy to become a regional renewable energy hub.
