Mazda Motor Corp plans to invest 5 billion baht ($150 million) in Thailand to produce electric compact SUVs. The investment aims to support domestic sales and exports, targeting 100,000 units annually. This move comes as electric vehicle (EV) sales in Thailand are expected to rise by 40%, surpassing 100,000 units and reversing an 8% sales decline last year.
