Japan has launched its first hydrogen dual-fuel tugboat equipped with a high-power internal combustion engine. Developed by Tsuneishi Shipbuilding as part of The Nippon Foundation's "Zero Emission Ships Project," the vessel combines hydrogen with traditional marine fuels, targeting a 60% reduction in carbon emissions compared to conventional tugboats.
