ITM Power’s Build-Own-Operate subsidiary Hydropulse has signed Heads of Terms with a European oil refinery for a 150 MW green hydrogen project. Project comprises three 50 MW Alpha electrolyser units to produce on-site green hydrogen under a planned 10-year agreement. Hydropulse will build, own and operate, generating long-term recurring revenues, while refinery provides site, power and utilities, reducing electricity price risk.
