IndiGrid, Kintech & HG Infra Win NVVN's 500MW Battery Storage Auction

IndiGrid 2 Limited, Kintech Synergy, and H.G. Infra Engineering won contracts in NVVN's first standalone Battery Energy Storage Auction, totaling 500 MW/1000 MWh. Tariffs ranged from ₹2.37 to ₹2.38 lakhs/MW/month, significantly lower than previous rates. The auction, launched in September 2024, is part of a larger 4,000 MWh capacity initiative supported by Viability Gap Funding.
