India’s Renewable Energy sector saw an eightfold surge in FDI since FY21, reaching USD 3.4 billion in FY25. Renewable Energy now constitutes 8% of total FDI inflows and contributed 89% of the 33 GW of new power capacity added. Installed RE capacity hit 220 GW. Innovative Renewable auctions and Energy Storage adoption advanced, supported by green bond issuances.
