Indian firm Uttamenergy Limited is investing $70 million to build the Philippines' most advanced waste-to-energy facility in New Clark City, Capas, Tarlac. The plant will span four hectares and generate 12 MW of electricity while processing municipal solid waste daily. The project was formalized by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), supporting clean energy and modern waste management.
