Union Minister Pralhad Joshi announced that the government plans to award an additional 7.8 lakh tonnes per annum (LTPA) of Green Hydrogen production capacity in 2025, as part of India's Green Hydrogen Mission. This follows the awarding of 4.12 LTPA capacity in 2024 with a focus on establishing production standards, storage, transportation, and applications in sectors like aviation and railways.
