India is studying the feasibility of transporting Green Hydrogen via Pipelines from Renewable Zones to ports as a cost-effective alternative to traditional transmission lines. The Government aims to reduce reliance on Chinese imports and strengthen domestic production. The study, involving GAIL, IOC, NTPC, and CEA will explore technical and economic aspects of future Green Hydrogen infrastructure.
