The Indian government has launched the PM e-Drive scheme to deploy 3,000 electric buses across Maharashtra, including Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, and Nashik. Led by the Ministry of Heavy Industries, the initiative aims to cut fossil fuel use, improve urban air quality, and support India’s 2070 net-zero target.
