India's Ministry of Power, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has launched a ₹9.15 lakh crore National Electricity Plan (2023-2032) to enhance the Power Grid and Energy security. The plan aims to meet a projected peak demand of 458 GW by expanding the Transmission network and integrating Renewable Energy.
