Hyundai has partnered with Exide Energy Solutions for the production and supply of lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery cells for EV in India. LFP cells offer over 10,000 charging cycles enhancing battery performance and reliability as compared to 1000 to 2300 cycles of LIB. The partnership is expected to expand Indian EV ecosystem and is a part Hyundai’s strategy to invest in Indian EV ecosystem.
