Hyundai Motor India Ltd plans to position Tamil Nadu as its flagship EV hub through expanded investments, localisation and supply chain development. The company will launch two new models, including its first mass-market EV, from its Chennai facility. It aims to raise localisation from 82% to 90% and increase local sourcing by ₹4,000 crore, creating 2,000 jobs.
