Hyundai Motor Group and IIT Delhi have launched the Hyundai Center of Excellence to advance Electric Vehicle (EV) research in India. Focused on EV battery systems, safety, and performance, the centre has initiated nine joint projects targeting battery design, energy density, and new materials. Led by Hyundai’s Chang Hwan Kim and IIT’s Bijaya Panigrahi, the initiative aims to accelerate EV innovation.
