Hyundai Motor and Kia are collaborating on developing Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Battery cathode materials with Hyundai Steel and Ecopro BM. The initiative aims to synthesize materials without precursors, lowering Production Costs and reducing import reliance. Supported by the Ministry of Trade, it seeks to enhance supply chain security and technological competitiveness in South Korea.
