HYDGEN and Malati Fine Chemicals (MFC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to pilot small-scale electrolyzer systems for industrial applications, starting with the sugar industry. The initiative aims to produce green hydrogen using renewable energy from bagasse-based cogeneration in sugar mills, which will then be converted into green methanol using captured carbon dioxide from distillery fermentation.
