Hithium has signed an agreement with the Navarre government to develop a battery gigafactory with an investment of €400 million. The facility will produce BESS systems and cells, creating around 700 jobs and targeting production by 2027. The deal, supported by Spain’s leadership, reflects growing collaboration and strengthens Europe’s energy storage manufacturing ecosystem and supply chain development.
