China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC) received rectifier transformers from Hitachi Energy for its 640 MW Green Hydrogen Plant in Jilin province. The transformers convert high-voltage AC to low-voltage DC, enhancing efficiency for hydrogen production. The $4bn Songyuan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park aims to produce 600,000 tonnes of ammonia and 60,000 tonnes of methanol annually, supported by 3 GW of Renewables.
