Hitachi Energy has secured an order to supply grid-forming solution that employs its grid stabilisation technology and Enhanced STATCOM which manages grid frequency and system voltage to Ørsted’s 2.4 GW offshore wind farm. This will integrate electricity from the wind farm into the UK electricity grid.
