Highview Power has launched a 2500MWh Long-duration Energy Storage (LDES) Project in Hunterston, Ayrshire, significantly boosting Scotland's Battery Storage Capacity. The initiative, unveiled by First Minister John Swinney, aims to enhance Renewable Electricity usage during construction. This project is part of a larger program to unlock 10GWh of Energy Storage across the UK.
