The Commission found GUVNL’s competitive bidding process transparent and compliant with statutory guidelines. However, M/s Gensol Engineering Limited failed to execute the Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement and submit the Performance Bank Guarantee within the prescribed timeframe. Consequently, the Commission upheld GUVNL’s decision to cancel the 250 MW/500 MWh base and 250 MW/500 MWh Greenshoe allocations and forfeit the ₹18.
