Gujarat BESS Private Limited has approached GERC seeking SCOD extension and waiver of liquidated damages for its 180 MW/360 MWh standalone BESS project at GETCO’s Charal (Sanand) GIS Substation. The developer attributed commissioning delays to force majeure events and factors involving GUVNL and GETCO, including land handover, cable trench, protection scheme, SCADA and supply-chain delays.
