Grenergy Renovables has inaugurated its 3.5 GWh Elena Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in northern Chile, strengthening its Oasis de Atacama solar-plus-storage platform. The site integrates 6,240 BYD battery units with a 446 MW solar farm in the Antofagasta region and is planned for expansion up to 7 GWh.
