Greenvolt Power won a 15-year tariff for a 499MWh battery energy storage project in Italy’s MACSE auction, securing one of Europe’s largest long-duration Li-ion battery systems. Located in the South & Calabria zone, the 75MW/600MWh project will be operational by 2028. The auction was highly competitive, awarding 10GWh storage capacity from over 40GW submissions.
