Greenbacker Renewable Energy has secured $950 million to develop New York's largest Solar farm, the 500-megawatt Cider project in Genesee County. Acquired from Hecate Energy, construction began in October 2024, with completion expected in 2026. The project will power 120,000 homes annually and supports New York's clean energy goals.
