The UK’s Green Nation has announced the Whitestone Solar Farm, a Solar and Energy Storage Project aimed at contributing 750MW to the National Grid. Located in South Yorkshire, it’s in early development with public consultations running from 18 Nov 2024 to 17 Jan 2025. The project includes a Battery Energy Storage System, with construction expected to begin in 2027 and grid connection by 2029.
