A green methanol project powered by green hydrogen has begun construction in Shenyang. The facility will produce 100,000 tonnes annually using agricultural waste and hydrogen from wind-powered electrolysers. Supported by biomass processing, hydrogen storage, and a 70MW/140MWh battery system, the project aims to ensure stable low-carbon fuel production.
