Green Hydrogen electrolyser capacity to be 520 GW by 2030

IEA states that the global Green H2 production by electrolyser is likely to be between 230 – 520 GW by 2030 based on the projects announced, seeing a 9 times growth from 2022. Electrolysers costs are expected to go down following China’s expansion in manufacturing capacity. Initially Low-emissions hydrogen are expected to remain expensive in short term with gradual decrement as going forward.
