Government to provide massive subsidy to EV Infrastructure

In a step towards developing upstream infrastructure required to set electric public fast charging stations across the country, the central government will provide an 80 per cent or higher subsidy under the INR 2,000 cr PM eDRIVE scheme. Acc. to the draft of MHI, the subsidy will support 48,400 fast chargers for 2W and 3W, 22,100 FOR 4W and 1,800 for e-Buses.
