Union Minister Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy chaired an inter-ministerial meeting to review the PM E-Drive Scheme aimed at accelerating EV charging infrastructure in India. With ₹2,000 crore funding, the scheme plans 72,000 public charging stations across 50 national highways and high-traffic areas. BHEL will develop a unified digital app for EV users.
