EcoPro BM, a South Korean cathode materials company for sodium-ion batteries, is negotiating with a Korean car manufacturer to launch EVs with these batteries. EcoPro claims their technology is ready for production and expects it to match the performance of lithium-iron-phosphate batteries within one to two years.
