Researchers are developing an offshore renewable energy platform off Goa that combines wind, wave, ocean current, and solar energy to generate reliable clean power throughout the year. The pilot project aims to produce green hydrogen by using renewable electricity to desalinate seawater and split it into hydrogen offshore, eliminating the need for costly subsea transmission cables.
