Giga Storage has secured €300 million in project financing for its 300MW/1,200MWh Giga Leopard battery energy storage system in Delfzijl, Netherlands. Construction has begun at a former aluminium smelting site, with commissioning set for late 2027. The company bypassed grid congestion by acquiring the smelter’s grid connection.
