Germany’s Federal Network Agency has awarded 2.98 GW of renewable energy capacity across its May 2026 auctions for onshore wind and solar-plus-storage projects. The wind auction allocated 2,499 MW across 270 projects, attracting bids nearly 2.6 times the offered capacity, with prices averaging €5.
