The Cypriot Council of Ministers approved a EUR 35 million Energy Storage funding plan to support Renewable Energy Projects and self-consumption facilities. Grants will be awarded through competitive tenders, with the first phase launching in January 2025. The initiative, part of the Just Transition Mechanism, aims to integrate Renewable Energy into the grid and Lower Electricity Costs.
