GERC heard a petition from Veena Energy Renewables Urja Pvt. Limited (VERUPL) for a tariff of ₹2.78 per unit for a 100 MW Solar Project. GUVNL, TGPPL, and others participated, but TGPPL did not appear. VERUPL and Tata Power confirmed their agreement to supply electricity under competitive bidding terms.
