Petronas-owned Gentari and Gamuda have partnered to develop around 1.5 GW of Renewable Energy capacity through Solar PV and Battery Storage Systems under Malaysia's Corporate Renewable Energy Supply Scheme (CRESS). This initiative aims to supply hyperscale data centers, which are expected to demand over 5 GW of reliable power by 2035.
